I know summer is in full swing when I head out on a LEEP Vacation. The first one of this summer was taking a group to Denver, Co.I can honestly say this particular vacation turned out to be one of my top 3 vacations I have ever been on with a LEEP group.
We left around 3:30am on Monday and got back around dinner time on Friday, June 29. Though I have been to Colorado a few times,I had never really spent any time in Denver so this was a new experience for me as well. We spent some time at the Denver Zoo, hung out at the Hard Rock on 16th Street, took a trip up Loveland's Pass, chilled (literally) in Breckenridge and just enjoyed the laid back lifestyle everyone had on the trip.

I mentioned going up Loveland's Pass was a highlight, and it was, but it was also an unexpected trip Our group had planned to go to Pike's Peak however, we were there during some of the worse wildfires in Colorado history. Because of this our plans changed and we rented a van and drove to Breckenridge instead. Anyway, we headed west but on the way we found out that the Eisenhower Tunnel had a car fire and we couldn't go through which is how we ended up on Loveland's Pass. To say I as a nervous wreck would be a bit of an understatement BUT we made it and the view was amazing.
On the final day in Denver we loaded up for a tour on Banjo Billy's bus and it was AWESOME! If you are ever in Denver, take the 90 minutes and jump on board.
All in all, loved the trip and hope to go back again really soon!
