Well I knew it was inevitable, Maddox has his first ear infection..... As a 2- time, ear tube recipient I kind of assumed we would be dealing with this as some point. Last night was filled with NO SLEEP (for any of us!), lots of screaming, and a mild fever (that went away as fast as it came thanks to Tylenol).
Silly me, I chalked it up teething (lots of drool, tons of chewing) and pulled the "Bad Mommy" card by taking him to daycare. I did explain our night that we had and told her to give me a call if things got worse. At 11:30 I got the dreaded call that he was indeed sick so off to get him and then to the Dr. we went.
Diagnosis: Ear Infection (left not as bad as the right) and Respiratory Infections respectively. YIPPEE!
So, another night to cuddle with my Peanut seems to be in order. Boy, I sure hope he feels better soon!

I felt the same way with Kenna's first ear infection. I had no idea she even had one until we went to her 6 month check up. I felt horrible!
