Trip to Lambeau

The weekend of November 20th, Justin, Maddox,and I loaded up and headed out to Green Bay for the 49ers/Packers game. We figured Maddox was never "too young" to get his first glimpse of the stadium so off we went. Usually these trips are with my entire family however, with the fall harvest as late as it has been this year, my parents were able to make it. My sister Ali and her fiance didn't make it either because she had just flown home a few weeks before to meet Mr. Maddox. :( Since we knew it wouldn't be worth taking Maddox to the game we lucked out and some good friends of ours went along. Hilary stayed with Maddox during the game and Tommy (a 49ers fan) came along to hang out!

While in Green Bay we did the usual fun stuff: Stadium Tour, Hall of Fame, Packer Pro Shop shopping, Titletown Brewery, tailgating, and more. Tommy, Justin, and Tom really enjoyed all of the football extravaganza surrounding the big game. Every time we are there it is ALWAYS freezing and we definitely need AT LEAST 4-5 layers of clothes before we head out to the game. We lucked out this year though and it was 59 degrees at game time so we weren't even wearing coats. The guys INSISTED on wearing their yooper hats even with the beautiful weather because they couldn't come Lambeau and not wear them. A big thank you to Hils bills for watching Mr. Maddox! We all had a fantastic time and I, for one, can't wait to go back again!

After a stop at a gas station (and after we had already changed Maddox once) the guys were lucky enough to get to change a rather STINKY diaper in the Tahoe. I am guessing they were less than thrilled with the smell!!

The Wisconsin marching band put on an AWESOME show during half time and after the game. We actually stuck around for awhile to check it out afterwards and weren't disappointed. Don't worry though, we did yell "GO HAWKS" during their school song!

We all took a shot at the Lambeau Leap. Great way to end a trip to Lambeau... oh and the atmosphere wasn't too bad either!
