Peanut's Latest

Things have been a bit rough where pregnancy has been concerned. I have been sick pretty much non- stop for the last 4 weeks. I go through spurts of feeling ok and then BAM off to the bathroom I go. I am pretty sure Justin thinks I was lying about just how bad it really was... That was until he had the joy of witnessing me literally hugging the toilet. TERRIBLE visual but even worse feeling!

We went in for our first Dr's appt yesterday (with our official OBGYN) and we loved him. He was great, everything was very easy with him and I know I felt very comfortable. He was such a dear and did prescribe me something for all of the nausea. I am on the first dosage and feel pretty darn good, hungry actually!

He had me do another ultrasound because I was having some pain on my right side. I knew it was a cyst but he wanted to check into it. Everything looked great and I was excited to get a new picture of Peanut. The heart was beating strong and loud and the baby was dancing/karate chopping- too funny! Everything looked good so that was great to hear.

We go back in a month so I will be sure to update then, if not before!

  3. Congrats Mandy and Justin,
I have been reading all of your posts about the baby. It is so great that you are pregnant. I wasn't sick so I don't know what you are going through, but hang in there. It will all be worth it when your little peanut arrives.
I am so happy for you!!!

  4. thanks we are really excited!! The sickness has been lessening since starting some medication, I just hope it stays away and that I am not speaking too soon!

Justin and I are debating finding out what we are having. I don't want to know and he does... I am hoping I can convince him to wait. :) I think it will keep him a little more interested.

Congrats to you Sarah on another little girl! How exciting!
